The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at NHCE was established in the year 2001 and offers graduate, post graduate and PhD programs. The course work designed for the four year B.E. degree program ensures a sound understanding and strong foundation in all areas of electronics and communication. The M-Tech program having a duration of two years, offers two areas of specialization. The curriculum is inclined towards promoting research attitude and meeting industry requirements in terms of technical aptitude and professional attitude, thus increasing their employability.

The department has a total strength of over 700 students, with highly qualified, motivated and experienced faculty members. A choice of three streams, Global, Professional and Executive courses, are providedto the students to ensure complete professional and personal growth. The course work of this branch strongly emphasises on learning fundamentals and analysing latest technology to develop student’s creativity by encouraging them to take up projects from micro to macro level of complexity. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has a focused goal of creating high quality engineering professionals who can transform society and earn global reputation.

    Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is a pioneering branch amongst all the Engineering branches. Electronics is a science which studies the effect of behaviour of electrons and their utilization in developing electronic devices.
